Doris Leibetseder is a Postdoc Assistent at the University of Basel and a Senior Researcher at the University of Graz, before they were a Visiting Scholar at the ReproSoc (Reproductive Sociology) research group at the University of Cambridge and Lecturer in Gender Studies at several universities in Austria and are still a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Vienna. Leibetseder received EU-funding from Horizon 2020, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), for her project “Towards an Inclusive Common European Framework for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART): Queer and Transgender Reproduction in the Age of ART” and was a post-doc researcher at the University of Uppsala, Sweden in the Centre for Gender Research and a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, CSMTS (Center for Science, Technology, Medicine and Society). They was previously part of the Beatrice Bain Research Group at UC Berkeley from 2013 to 2016 and a research fellow in the IAS-STS (Institute for Advanced Studies – Science & Technology Studies) at the Alpen-Adria University (AAU) in Graz, Austria.
