About Doris Wang

Experienced CG professional with two decades of experience working in feature animation, VFX films, animated TV series and games. Crafting immersive worlds and effective story telling primarily through look deving, lighting and compositing, I have also worked in various departments throughout a production pipeline, including modeling, set dressing and fur grooming. I have extensive hands-on knowledge in Houdini, Katana, Maya, Nuke, and Unreal Engine. Production tools such as ShotGrid and Jira, version control tools such as Perforce are also software I am familiar with. I have had the privilege of collaborating with many award-winning studios across the US, Canada and New Zealand, and have been trusted to lead sequences for highly acclaimed shows a number of times. I thrive in a team-oriented environment and prioritize collaboration and great communication between team members and across departments. I am a creative problem solver, self reliant and excel in identifying/documenting issues, troubleshooting, and debugging rendering issues. I pick up new knowledge quickly and pride myself in my ability to always stick to production schedule while delivering the desired outcome.
