Work: Currently, i am leading the (digital) transformation of Karsten International and everything related to digital/technology/data. Before Karsten International, i was the Retail & Consumer Goods practice leader for Consulting Northern Europe at Cognizant responsible for our RCG customers, I manage our revenue forecast and pipeline, own multiple offerings and have responsibility of a great team of consultants. Advising Global (C-level also C-1/C-2) executives/management related to (Digital) business strategies & Transformations. Supporting business strategies and leading the translation of those strategies into tangible Products and Services by leading the implementation. Thus, not just present a high level plan, but deliver it as well, all the way. Strong experience within Retail & Consumer Goods, yet experience across many industries. Led transformations (e.g. End responsible for 12mio contract value and 100+ team members) and product teams, both in (scaled) agile and Waterfall programs. From a function perspective, the core of my experience is related to Strategy, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales Service functions as well as Technology. Demonstrated to consistently grow the business by selling advisory engagements as well as large transformation (implementation) programs (everything from 50k to 300mio contract value). I always aim to be an emphatic leader, with a situational and often coaching leadership style. As an advisor to senior leaders I always support to look from a customer/employee and business perspective before translating into solutions. Keeping focus on business goals and basing decisions on facts. Enjoy making complex challenges easy to understand and taking people and organizations along the journey by painting a future where people really can stand behind. I embraces change for the good, keen to be entrepreneurial, while keep having a curious mind with a genuine interest in other people's values and beliefs. Last, but not least, i want to bring positive energy making sure to have fun with the people around me. Outside of work: Most of the time I spend outside of work is to meet friends and family who live across The Netherlands. In between I love to work out, go running, play padel and travel. Having lived in China I still follow their developments and have given a “TED-talk” the (life) lessons I learned there. I love to learn new things and my last, totally out of hand, hobby is wine: I passed my SDEN3 exam (just before vinoloog level) and started a small vineyard to ultimately make my own wine.
