About Dorothee Dening

The simplest solutions are often the hardest to create, but that doesn’t stop me from pursuing them. I’m a passionate advocate for the people I’m designing for, driven by a strong belief that there’s always room for improvement. As a Service Designer and Researcher, I conduct generative and strategic research, interview, facilitate workshops, create concepts and explore them with customers.I have a track record for delivering the best possible experiences with a strong attention to detail while retaining the big picture view. I’m an analytical thinker and storyteller who uses empathy to help project teams and stakeholders to explore a problem and find solutions that satisfy customers and businesses alike. I have worked in agencies, start-ups, consulting and in-house in Germany and Australia; provided clients in government, B2C and B2B e-commerce with advice; used agile methodologies and design sprints to break down the work into bite-sized steps. I have researched and designed enterprise systems and products in responsive design using a mobile-first approach.
