About Doug Cummings

With over 25 years of experience in IT and 14 yrs clinical systems analysis, I am currently in the role of Sr Implementation Project Manager and Clinical Consultant at Vyaire Medical, a global leader in respiratory care solutions. My mission is to deliver high-quality and innovative implementation services, configurations, test management, conversions, technical support, training, and migrations for various clinical applications and systems. As part of the implementation team, I work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to assess the impact of changes, ensure high availability, support new functionality, and participate in HL7 interface development, integration and testing. I have successfully led the conversion from Allscripts to Epic EHR for PFT and Sonifi systems at Baylor Scott & White Health, one of the largest health care systems in the US. I have also implemented third-party software and related modules for various clients. I leverage my strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as my MA in Christian Education, to facilitate collaboration, build relationships, and achieve short- and long-term objectives.
