I am a self-motivated and goal oriented individual who is always looking for additional opportunities to learn. I enjoy working on large scale projects and collaborating with people from different skill backgrounds, as well as cultural backgrounds. I have 2 years of co-op experience working on a variety of projects across Canada such as Fort McMurray, Newfoundland, Saskatoon and North Bay. I am familiar with reading and installing geotechnical instrumentation, as well as groundwater sampling. I have performed slope stability analysis on various tailings dams using modelling software packages as well as performing QA/QC during dam construction. I have ample experience report writing and possess strong writing skills. I have gained extensive field experience in the oil sands as well as survey experience in municipal areas. I'm also comfortable with programs such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office products. I'm used to working under pressure and handling multiple deadlines through working on multiple projects. As a Geological Engineering student, I'm looking to increase my capacity of solving geotechnical problems as well as further develop my understanding of modern mining practices. I'm always looking for opportunities to go abroad for travel or work purposes.
