Doug Eppley is a highly experienced construction and facilities management leader with over 35 years of expertise spanning construction services, capital project planning, campus infrastructure, and operations. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and has served in leadership roles across both higher education and the public sector. In his current position as Construction Services Director, Doug leads all aspects of construction project execution—from developing project plans and managing daily field operations to overseeing changes in scope, schedule, and cost. He coordinates multidisciplinary teams, assigns and supervises work crews, and ensures efficient collaboration among architects, engineers, and institutional stakeholders. Doug plays a key financial role by contributing to budget development, monitoring expenditures, implementing cost controls, and managing contract financials. He conducts site inspections to enforce quality standards and safety compliance and serves as a central liaison to communicate progress, manage expectations, and resolve concerns. His strong leadership and technical acumen consistently deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of performance. In his past employment as Director of Facilities and Capital Management at Saint Vincent College and as Director of the Physical Plant at Saint Francis University, Doug lead day-to-day maintenance, custodial, and grounds operations while overseeing capital construction projects.
