About Doug Ferguson

I work with leaders, teams and Boards to optimize strategic thinking, organizational development and financial returns. Current clients are predominantly high tech and health care companies looking to develop new markets based on cutting edge technology and unique customer insights. Combining American and East Asian investors in partnerships is a focus as well. I have authored several articles, including the white paper “The Company One Keeps” about using strategic partnerships to spur corporate innovation and a featured Business Week article, “Your Success Depends on your Talent”. I regularly author a blog about interesting innovation management practices. In addition to my work as an advisor, strategist and consultant, I have held senior executive positions at Lotus Development, Next Era/Planning technologies and Cambridge Management Consulting. I am also actively involved with issues of corporate governance. I have been a member of the Board of Directors of two NASDAQ companies: Centra Software and Saba Software and am currently a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). I seek opportunities to work with management teams who are looking to expand through innovation, acquisition, partnerships, or international development, particularly East Asia.
