Oversee all facets of operations including contract negotiations, finance, manufacturing, distribution, licensing, sales. Negotiated the deal that gave AJE the distinction of being the only fully independent record label to have a Walmart exclusive record release. Working with Billboard’s #7 new Country artist of 2009, Colt Ford, AJE market on all platforms: digital and physical. Ford’s 4 most recent releases all debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Country charts. In a little over four years, successfully launched 5 titles on Ford and sold over 2 million downloads and nearly 1M physical. Ford has been nominated for an ACM Award in the “Collaboration of the Year “ category for his single,"Cold Beer," with Jamey Johnson. AJE is the only wholly Independent distributed Country Music label to have Colt Ford's 2012 release,"Declaration of Independence", debut at number 1 on the Billboard Country Music chart. Country artist Brantley Gilbert has also enjoyed great success with Average Joes selling over half a million song downloads in his first year with AJE. Gilbert has also shared wth Ford in the success of another Georgia native, Jason Aldean. Aldean’s #1 hit single, “Dirt Road Anthem” was written and originally released by both Ford and Gilbert. Average Joes focus on a grassroots approach, availability of product, and cross-promotional opportunities that expand artist visibility.
