Doug Klein is a Loan Originator with Cardinal Financial in the Greater Fort Collins area. With 26 years in loan origination, he still finds the ever-changing landscape exciting and rewarding. Especially now, as the ever changing real estate market unfolds, he is focusing on serving all of the clients, past, present and future, as we move forward in residential lending industry. Doug started working in the financial services profession in 1993 after closing out a successful college football-coaching career that covered three major universities in three states. Doug was a quarterback coach for Ferris State University and Kent State University. He also served as a graduate assistant for Indiana University while achieving his Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration. He left that career to spend more time with his family. Doug started his own mortgage company: Front Range Mortgage Professionals in where he continued to help over families with their purchase & refinance needs as a Mortgage Expert. Diligent, hard-working, dedicated to representing his customers in a professional and ethical manner that routinely brings them back for help, guidance and trusted advice whether purchasing their first home or multiple investment properties. In 2007, Adams Mortgage purchased Doug’s mortgage company. He served Adams Mortgage until March, 2014. Doug continued working in the home loan industry and is currently with Cardinal Financial. Doug has two grown sons and is blessed now with a wonderful daughter-in-law and 4 grandsons. His sons and daughter-in-law have all enjoyed successful college and athletic careers. Doug enjoys an active lifestyle with family and friends while residing in Severance, Colorado and serving the northern Colorado region.
