About Doug Meier

Doug is a partner in PwC’s Deals practice and a Lead Client Relationship Partner. Doug previously led PwC’s Deals practice in the Greater Texas Market. While in that role, Doug was selected as one of the top 100 most influential Houston leaders in the energy industry by the Houston Business Journal. Additionally, Doug previously co-lead our Deals Analytics team, Doug advises his clients on their acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures by bringing a value creation philosophy to these transformational transactions. Doug specializes in financial, economic, operational and accounting analyses focused on his clients' key value drivers. His experience includes a wide range of Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture areas including strategic planning, acquisition due diligence, value driver analysis, purchase agreement negotiation, structuring, post-merger integration, litigation, post-merger disputes and divestiture services, among others. He has provided his services to strategic and financial clients competing in a vast array of industries including Retail, Consumer, Hospitality, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Renewables (bio-fuels, hydro, wind, solar), Medical Products and Equipment, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, and Commercial & Industrial Products and Services. Doug regularly speaks at national professional conferences and seminars, including seminars on Mergers & Acquisitions and Joint Ventures. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and received his Masters in Business Administration with concentrations in Analytical Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago.
