About Doug Rettberg

I worked for the Maryland Department of Emergency Management just shy of three years as a Training specialist and to some extent as an Exercise specialist as well. What an awesome experience - getting to teach emergency management courses, attend trainings, participate in EM exercises and getting to run a table top exercise. I began working for MDEM in August of 2022. Prior to this I worked at Elevate Fitness in Hunt Valley, MD as the manager for about two years. Certified in January of 2016 through National Academy of Sports Medicine. Completed NASM externship at Brick Bodies Reisterstown in July of 2016. DR Fitness of Maryland and In Home Training was created in the fall of 2016. I worked one on one with clients via in home training since September of 2016 through the summer of 2022. MMA Conditioning certified August 1, 2017. Received my Corrective Exercise Specialist (C.E.S.) certification through NASM - 4/17/2020. I had been working part time at Elevate Health and Wellness Center in the Executive Plaza in Hunt Valley, MD, as of September, 2017. I started working full time for Elevation May 1, 2018 at their T. Rowe Price location. In addition, I am a part time guitar instructor. I have been teaching guitar since 2005 started playing guitar over thirty years ago.
