About Doug Scott

Doug Scott is a Queen’s University graduate (B.Sc. Civil Engineering 1978), and joined Wales McLelland in 1990 as a senior project manager. Previously, he spent 11 years working across Canada for a large national, heavy civil contractor and is experienced in estimating and managing construction projects ranging in value up to $100 million. Along with Sonny Wong, he purchased the firm in 1994, and has since become the sole proprietor. To date, Doug has worked on projects such as IKEA in Coquitlam, BCGEU Kelowna, Sobeys Warehouse Expansion in ON and Vij's four locations. SiteMAX Systems bridges technology and the construction industry. SiteMAX is a construction project management system application devised by James Faulkner of Faulkner Brand Inc. and used first with Wales McLelland Construction. Since inception, it has gained recognition not only locally but nationally as well. SiteMAX lets clients follow their project along in real time, as project managers and other on-site workers update their progress.
