About Doug Sharp

As Senior Managing Director and Head of Americas and EMEA at Invesco, I oversee the firm’s business in the Americas and in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as our global ETFs, SMAs and digital capabilities. Since I joined Invesco in 2008, I’ve been honored to serve in multiple leadership roles, including as Head of EMEA Retail. Prior to that, I ran Invesco’s cross-border retail business and served as head of strategy and business planning and as chief administrative officer for Invesco’s US institutional business. Before Invesco, I worked at McKinsey & Co, where I served clients in the financial services, energy and logistics sectors. I’m a member of the Investment Association Advisory Board, TheCityUK Advisory Council, the Investment Company Institute global steering committee, and the Diversity Project. I’m originally from Canada but have a dual US/Canadian nationality. I’ve been fortunate to live all over the world, including in the US and in the Middle East, and in 2012, I relocated to the UK with my wife and two children. In my spare time, I enjoy running and playing golf, as well as spending time with my family.
