About Dougie Boyd

I’m the Director of Education & Wellbeing at Brook, the UK’s leading sex and relationships charity for young people. I have over twenty years of experience in designing and delivering innovative and comprehensive education programmes that promote young people's health, wellbeing and mental health. I hold a PGCE from the University of Cambridge and a BA Hons. from the University of Kent. I lead a diverse and talented team of educators, trainers, and wellbeing practitioners who work across the country to provide multi-modal services that include classroom delivery, one to one wellbeing work, condom distribution, small group work, LGBT+ provision, period poverty projects and Brook’s new mental health hubs. In 2022/23, we reached over young people in an education setting, working in 43% of all English local authorities and in over 10% of secondary schools nationally. I am passionate about empowering young people to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health, rights, and relationships.
