More than twenty years of experience in National Security and Defense issues, including five years of military service as an Army officer and 17 years as Congressional staff. Specific areas of experience include management of committee staff of seventy defense professionals, defense acquisition policy, defense acquisition program oversight, defense budget analysis, development and writing of legislation and congressional report language, speech writing, direct support to members of Congress in achieving legislative objectives, and a deep understanding of the national security legislative process. Assisted members of Congress in conducting oversight of military aircraft, unmanned aircraft systems, intelligence aircraft, air-launched missiles and munitions, electronic warfare systems, and Army/Marine Corps ground vehicles and combat systems.
