I have more than 33 years of network television production and event experience, the majority being live broadcast either in studio or on location. Most recently, I helped produce the morning and noon news shows for KTRK-TV Channel 13, the ABC affiliate in Houston. I also developed a reputation as the “go to” person or expediter who could handle any project, person, or situation. Some of my career highlights include:* Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Parade: Stage manager, set-up crew chief, camera and lighting for this multiday event supervising a 25-person crew * The Debra Duncan Show: Floor director and sidekick for this hourly Houston news and entertainment show that ran for four years * City of Houston, Fourth of July Celebration: Stage manager for TV and set-up crew chief for this annual event with 20-plus camera locations * ABC World News Tonight and Good Morning America: Lighting and stage direction * Sports events include ABC Monday Night Football, Rocket's Basketball, Houston Dynamos,Houston Astros,The Tennis Channel, Houston Texans Football, NFL Pro Bowl, NBA and NCAA basketball, NCAA tennis final, and the PGA.
