Throughout my 28 year career, I have leveraged my deep technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and materials engineering to perform root cause analysis on complex medical devices and semiconductor capital equipment. I am adept at using a wide range of lab tools and techniques to replicate and pinpoint failure modes. For example, in my previous role I conducted extensive testing, analysis, and microscopic inspection to troubleshoot Neuromodulation and Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure products. In addition to hands-on failure analysis, I have spearheaded numerous initiatives to optimize workflows, implement inventory control systems, create testing documentation, and cross-train team members. With my mix of technical investigative skills and a track record of operational leadership, I am prepared to make immediate contributions as a Failure Analysis Engineer or Product Engineer. My background aligns perfectly with priorities like performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on in market product failures and customer returns, producing professional documentation and reporting of test results to the engineering teams, all while working within a multi-discipline team of engineers to develop and execute RCA testing plans.
