Douglas Docherty – Sales Representative, Swan Dust Control My skills were developed during time spent with top tier companies such as Hallmark Cards where I mastered territory management and the integration of wholesale and retail markets. At H.B. Fenn, my efforts took me in the direction of national chains where I built successful relationships with accounts like Walmart, Costco, Staples and Toys “R” Us and my efforts were rewarded with unprecedented sales increases. McClelland and Stewart charged me with the responsibility of developing emerging markets in non-traditional publishing channels. I used my knowledge and experience to sell juvenile books into national drug store chains, craft books into national hardware chains and preselected book displays into independent stores across the country through a variety of methods that included direct calls, customer specific presentations, referrals and trade shows. I spend my free time with my wife Holly and my children and grand-children. I still find time to coach soccer and sit on a number of volunteer boards in the community.
