About Douglas Gentil

With over 30 years of experience in the software industry, I am a passionate leader who strives to create innovative and scalable solutions for complex business problems. My core competencies include business data management, query languages, Object-oriented and procedural programming, which I apply to deliver high-quality products and services to my clients. As the Chief Executive Officer of Quadra Softworks, a software development company that specializes in web applications, I lead a team of talented and dedicated professionals who share my vision of excellence and customer satisfaction. Before joining Quadra Softworks in 2019, I founded and ran Naturalcode Informática Ltda, a software consultancy firm that developed the Pragmatic Library, an agile development framework for the web environment. The Pragmatic Library is a result of my extensive research, design, and construction of a robust and flexible system that enables rapid and efficient web development. I also have experience as a Senior System Engineer at B3, as a key figure in architecting and coordinating the development of the Financial Posting Service, emphasizing performance for handling substantial data volumes during both online and overnight processing. Additionally, I led a critical project involving the synchronization of financial databases between DB2 and SQL Server. At Diebold Nixdorf, I played a pivotal role in the Sala Azul Project, contributing as a developer for the ATM network for Caixa Econômica Federal. I also excelled in managing and leading a team for the Asset Custody System Downsizing project at Bovespa. My expertise extends to diverse projects, including communication layer development for ATM networks and management systems for financial institutions.
