Electronics Engineer with embedded safety critical hardware and software experience. Engineering and Product Project Management. Control Systems (especially in Human Machine Interface (HMI) also known as User Interface (UI) and Man Machine Interface (MMI) experience. For the last dozen years, working in Automotive Parts and Accessories - developing Genuine Accessories (based on Aftermarket parts and systems) working with suppliers on more dedicated designs to match our vehicles and vehicle design standards. Responsible for Electrical Accessories directly (Audio/Navigation; Bluetooth; Reversing Cameras; Parking Aids; Towing and Electric Brake systems etc) but also Managing the Engineering Team working on all parts (Frontal Protection Systems; Utility Trays; plastic parts and painted parts). Very keen hands-on Engineering Manager. Experience of broad range of technologies/companies/applications across the UK and Australia, I would describe myself as a capable Engineer with a key strength in my ability to break down complex problems and explain/work with a cross-functional multi-location team.
