Hello and welcome! My name is Douglas Graeff. I am a software developer with over 6 years of experience who is passionate about solving problems, creating solutions, and help companies make people's lives easier with software. My journey began in 2018, fascinated by seeing my work being used in everyday life. Since then, I've dedicated myself to software development, always seeking to deliver high-impact results. The first results of my implementations were written in Java and Swing, but it is in the Microsoft world that I have vast experience. I develop applications with various versions of.NET and C#, where I can daily deliver results to the clients of the companies I collaborate with and have collaborated with through continuous development and delivery (CI/CD). Complexity is what I'm looking for. I'm passionate about algorithms and data structures. Creating solutions to complex problems, manipulating large amounts of data, maintaining SQL Server databases, writing stored procedures, reviewing code performance, work on tasks involving databases, creating APIs and face challenges are some of the greatest motivations. I always try to write well-structured, easy-to-use code using design patterns, following the clean code practices and SOLID principles. No testing, no deployment! I like to guarantee the quality and reliability of the code I deliver, which is why unit tests with NUnit and MOQ are always a must. Curious about new technologies, patterns, and as a quick learner, I always strive to be up-to-date so that I can deliver more and better. I like doing conceptual work and documenting: planning more, executing less. I'm a communicative and curious person, who likes to work in collaborative teams, providing and receiving support, participating in pair programming sessions, to help create an environment open to idea exchange and suggesting improvements. Not only that, but I believe that I can quickly adapt to new technologies and requirements. I'm always seeking improvements and promoting a positive and productive environment.
