About Douglas Kasule

I have been an international school secondary drama teacher since 2014. In that time, I have learned how to work with children between the ages 10-19years. I have taught students the art of public speaking, stage acting, research, presentation, script writing for stage/audio/video, audiovisual production and editing, theatre knowledge and all this process has helped students develop social life skills like team work/cooperation, confidence, creativity, self-esteem, critical thinking, organisation etc. I have been a drama subject coordinator for over 5 years and the role involved planning for the subject/department, work on development plan and relating with other departments to see how we come up with collaborative projects to help the learners. I have also been part of whole school musical productions like The Lion King, Willow Blues, Gladiators etc as a director of drama and coordinator. In my time as a teacher, I have inspired, mentored, motivated and encouraged learners to work hard and exhaust their potential and not settle for comfort zones.
