Background
About Douglas Mason
I am a freelance photographer and focus on live events, from Rock n’ Roll and Jazz to Weddings. I have a photo studio in Heath, Massachusetts where I do product and portrait photography, I also do aerial and architectural photography. Our home and my studio are now "Carbon Neutral, we have had a 6.6 kw windmill, passive solar and solar hot water for many years. This year we added 7.5 kw of solar Photo Voltaic panels. Teaching at Lehigh University for 20 years taught me that following ones passion carefully and clearly is the best way to keep creativity alive. My candid, photo journalistic style hopefully brings life and emotion to the images that I make. I currently have two 7 year old kids, Sofia and Joseph, who are teaching some new ways to look at the world. Specialties: Photojournalism, performance photography, studio lighting, wedding photography, architectural photography, photographic virtual reality, Q.T.V.R, and fine printing.
