About Douglas Reed

Doug is a seasoned pastor, thoughtful communicator, and bridge-builder with over two decades of experience leading from the pulpit. He currently serves as the Pastor of The Tabernacle in Buffalo, NY—a vibrant, historic Pentecostal church with a heart for both the city and the nations. Doug co-hosts the Shoulder to Shoulder podcast alongside Rabbi Pesach Wolicki, a unique and growing platform where a pastor and a rabbi engage leading voices from faith, government, business, and the military to explore the big questions shaping our world. Each week, thousands tune in for meaningful conversations that go beyond soundbites and into substance. Doug is a passionate Christian Zionist whose first trip to Israel in 2016 with Eagles’ Wings marked a turning point in his life and ministry. That experience ignited a lifelong mission to reconnect Christians with the Jewish roots of their faith. Since then, he has led countless trips to the Holy Land, building bridges between Christians and the people of Israel as well as the land of Israel, and helping believers see the Bible come alive in its original context. Doug has appeared on Christian television, been featured on various podcasts, and speaks regularly at churches and conferences. His teaching is marked by clarity, conviction, and a deep love for the truth of God’s Word—always delivered with a pastor’s heart and a practical edge. Doug has also published articles with Israel365 and The Christian Post, lending his voice to conversations at the intersection of faith and culture. He is currently preparing to release his first book, Western Christianity Is Not Enough, set to launch in late 2025. But before all of that, Doug is first a husband to his high school sweetheart, Samantha, and the proud father of their four children: Charlotte, Graham, Benjamin, and Abraham. He often says he lives his life so that one day, long after he’s gone, his children and grandchildren will say, “We serve the God of our father.”
