SJIB Approved 18th Edition Electrician with HNC Electrical Engineering. Training in Electrical Engineering and working as an approved electrician I have experience in all forms of electrical work commercial, domestic and onshore petrol chemical plant, installation, design and maintenance. I am currently the Electrician Supervisor for Wmbrown Maintenance who specialise in servicing and inspection of smoke ventilation control systems, car park ventilation system, automated natural ventilation systems, stairwell pressurisation/ mechanical extract systems, fire dampers and electrical maintenance. My duties also include project management of system upgrades/ retrofits of existing equipment from design concepts to installation. Including the managing of outside contractors to deliver projects on time and as efficiently as possible. I have completed my Advanced Competency Assessment and course work to obtain approved electrician status and I have successfully completed SMSTS training. I also have two inspection and testing qualification. SELECT initial verification of electrical systems and SELECT periodic inspection of electrical systems. I hold PASMA, working at heights and IPAF 1a,3a, and 3b certificates. I’ve previously held IRATA rope acess and COMPEX electrical systems in hazardous areas qualification’s. Past experience: Consilium Contracting Services. Acting supervisor to Ng2 contract. April 2014 - March 2014. Working alone and as part of a team on fire alarm and intruder alarm installation, testing and inspection, intercom systems and energy efficacy upgrades (LED), electrical inspection and testing of new and existing installations. Sole full time electrician responsible for properties in the Argyle area.
