Acupuncture Physician | Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner | Integrative Healthcare Innovator With a deep commitment to patient-centered, integrative healthcare, I specialize in acupuncture, functional medicine, and non-opioid pain management—particularly in the areas of veteran care, chronic pain, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My expertise bridges Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with functional medicine, helping patients optimize their health by addressing the root causes of chronic conditions. Currently, I provide cutting-edge, evidence-based care at Integrative Wellness Center in Jacksonville, FL, where I combine acupuncture, herbal therapy, nutritional strategies, and lifestyle medicine to support neurological and systemic healing. I previously served as the sole Acupuncture Physician at UF Health Brain Wellness Program, where I played a pivotal role in developing acupuncture protocols within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing patient recovery from complex neurological and pain-related conditions. Beyond clinical care, I have extensive program management experience, having led the PAMI Pain Coaching and Education Pilot Program, the nation’s first grant-funded non-opioid pain relief initiative in emergency medicine. Through this role, I successfully developed and implemented innovative pain management solutions, significantly reducing opioid dependence. My research in this space has been featured at PAINWeek and the ACEP Research Forum. As an advocate for integrative and functional healthcare, I am dedicated to expanding access to individualized, evidence-based medicine. I am actively working to enhance veteran and first responder health services through Hero’s Health Alliance, my nonprofit initiative aimed at providing functional diagnostic care, acupuncture, and holistic therapies.
