About Douglas Wolf

As an intellectual property attorney at Wolf Greenfield, my focus is primarily in the areas of trademark prosecution and litigation, patent portfolio management, infringement and patentability analysis, licensing, and internet issues. I also regularly provide due diligence and acquisition analysis. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work across nearly every industry, from consumer goods and services to high-tech and life sciences. My clients often tell me they value my responsiveness — something I consider fundamental to how I work. I support both large and small trademark clients, including several portfolios comprising thousands of trademark records throughout the world, to protect and grow their brands. My experience encompasses managing litigation in foreign jurisdictions including infringement, counterfeiting, and domain name disputes. I also work closely with a trusted network of lawyers worldwide to create strong, professional relationships that enable my clients to have seamless legal service in any jurisdiction. Beyond my practice, I stay deeply engaged in the trademark community through the International Trademark Association (INTA), where I’ve served on several committees, and in leadership roles with Columbia University and Cardozo Law School. I also have several leadership roles within my firm, including co-chairing the New York office and the Trademark & Copyright Practice, along with being a member of the Executive Committee.
