Partnered with U.S. military personnel and other specialists, CMG LLC strives to provide its select clientele with dynamic, relevant and secure consulting and training for its customers' needs Doug Young has served in duel capacity as a Fire Department Special Operations Captain and as a Staff Battalion Chief as the Santa Clara County’s All Hazards Coordinator- Fire/ Homeland Security liaison, bringing over 28 years of experience to the operational area. He has worked in specialized teams in public safety including Cal Fire Helitack, trained with local SWAT teams as a medic and served as part of the Santa Clara County Fire Department’s Special Operations Task Force as a Firefighter, Captain, and Haz-Mat Coordinator. As the All-Hazards Coordinator for the Fire Service, he gathered information and intelligence, provides gap analysis for new terrorist threats and assists in training and equipping the fire service for emerging threat matrix and complex coordinated attacks. He served as project manager for the county's active shooter training program and wildfire annex/evacuation program. He also served as an adjunct advisor with a non-profit group sending Congressional leaders, FEMA officials and first responders to the Middle East to witness and review anti-terrorism best practices. His field work and research on ‘International Terrorist Methodology for Fire Used as a Weapon,” has been highlighted in local, state and national courses and intelligence briefs nationwide.
