I consider myself a “Mission Enabler” because if my customer has a challenge, I am relentless until I solve it. I have an exceptional ability to conceptualize the problem and introduce solutions that can enhance the mission success. I credit my success to my unconventional life. “Where this is a will, there is a way,” is a personal mantra to me. It is always hard for people to believe that I was a High School dropout. After High School, I ran a successful business and then years later, I enlisted into the Army – much later than the norm. I now have two Master’s degrees, including a M.B.A. Yes, it was an unconventional path but it is a testament to my goal-oriented outlook, driven nature to succeed and my ability to juggle multiple projects in compressed timelines. I am now a contractor to the Intelligence Community where I provide Project Management support to high-level leadership for portfolios over $300M. As a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) professional, I serve as their trusted advisor to ensure deliverables are met and continuous improvement methodologies are employed. Project Management was a natural flow from my skills as a Master Scheduler. As a Scheduler, I developed high-level Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that incorporated major milestones dependencies, critical paths, exit criteria and activities for large government programs in excess of $350M.
