Hi, my name is Dragos Soon to be grad with a Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest(Jun 2024) Bucharest Native, fueled by a passion for technology and a drive to make a difference, I am a computer science student seeking opportunities to turn my ideas into impactful solutions. With a strong foundation in programming and a thirst for knowledge, I am constantly seeking new challenges and experiences to further my growth in the field. Whether it's through an internship or a full-time role, I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals and bring my skills to the table. Let's build the future, one line of code at a time. Projects I have worked on: Programmed an interface for sharing gifts based on statistics about the children and their preferences and improved the code quality by using design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Strategy and Builder Developed a Black Friday command processor in Java Multithreading to efficiently process and ship orders Worked with the Map-Reduce paradigm, used for processing large sets of documents in distributed systems Designed a simplified platform that provides information about movies and TV shows, allowing users to receive personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Developed a client-side application that communicates with a server-side REST API In my free time, I enjoy pursuing a variety of interests and hobbies outside of coding. One of my greatest passions is playing chess, which I find to be a mentally challenging and rewarding activity that helps me to sharpen my strategic thinking skills. I also love staying active through sports such as football, table tennis, bouldering and snowboarding, which provide a fun and healthy outlet for physical exercise and competition.
