About Drew Alcaide

I have earned a degree in computer science, focusing on courses in cyber security, malware analysis and discrete math and logic. I have acquired skills for computer system setup, analysis and repair on a software and hardware level. I learned to identify malware patterns and find solutions to remove unwanted software as well as assisting to prevent repeat issues by instructing clients on proper internet safety including recognizing and avoiding phishing attempts. This in combination with my coursework has helped me earn my CompTIA Security+ Certification and will allow me to earn any additional required certifications in a short amount of time. During both work and school I have made it a point to practice technical communication skills, allowing me to easily explain complex subjects to those with and without technical backgrounds. I have worked independently and as an equal member of a team. Additionally, I have experience with leadership and group management in non-technical related activities.
