Is familiar with design engineering and the standard design process. Has obtained 10 CFR 50.59 qualifications. Worked in the Enercon probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) group for several years and has significant experience in risk-informed applications including 10 CFR 50.69 categorizations, surveillance test interval extensions, and tornado missile risk evaluator. Completed the Enercon PRA qualification program that is modeled after EPRI. Worked on the NuScale Power part 52 design certification for 2+ years as a staff augmentation employee. Performed radiation transport analysis, decay heat calculations, general dose calculations, effluent release calculations, and more in support of the DCA. Spent several years working on the analysis and licensing of several spent fuel storage casks, hybrid transport/storage casks, and a low level waste cask. Performed source terms, dose, criticality safety, and containment/confinement analyses. Has also supported numerous utility ISFSI campaigns including hazards analysis and 72.212 licensing.
