The practice of medicine is an incredibly powerful opportunity to have a profound influence on people's lives one encounter at a time. Healthcare is also a complex place with a number of interacting ideals, groups and philosophies. Sometimes the system needs poking from within and sometimes from the outside. While I continue to work within the system I am most excited about the ability to push fundamental change from the outside by bringing objective reproducible measurement of peoples movement to the forefront through Yana Motion Lab. Movement is critical to our everyday lives and until now was one without a tool as powerful as 3D markerless motion capture. This will be a different experience but one I am excited about.
