I am a Stationary Engineer at Able Services, where I perform daily tasks such as rounds for UCSF Hospitals, monitoring and maintaining air handler units, stairwell pressurization, water filtration systems, nurse call systems, bed repairs and exhaust fans, and cooling towers. I have a wide variety of carpentry experience working on door operating systems, locks, and furniture repair. I am also currently enrolled in a Local 39 apprenticeship program, studying Engineering and learning from experienced mentors. In my previous roles, I have gained experience with boilers, booster pumps, chillers, basic electric, low voltage, refrigeration units, electrical outlet testing, and regulatory duties. I have also worked on replacing exhaust fan belts and motors, breakers on panels, and cleaning and maintaining kitchen hood systems. I have developed skills in inventory management, variable-frequency drives, and heating systems. I am passionate about providing quality service and ensuring safety and compliance. I value teamwork, learning, and innovation, and I enjoy working with diverse and talented colleagues who share these values. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to new challenges and opportunities in the engineering field.
