Drew Holzwarth brings more than 25 years of leadership in real estate development, homebuilding and commercial construction to Greenwood Homes as its Managing Partner. Drew is a results-driven leader who has found success wherever his interests have taken him. Now, together with his highly proven and incredibly experienced team, Drew leads Greenwood Homes, a full-service Semi-Custom homebuilder. Prior to launching Greenwood Homes, Drew led a successful merger of Realty & Construction and Stanley Martin Homes. In 2013, Drew's organization joined the SMH family of companies and began their expansion out of the Metro Washington DC Market. As President of the Piedmont Region for the Stanley Martin Homes, Drew's proven executive leadership in land development and homebuilding operations in the Charlottesville VA, Richmond VA, and Raleigh NC Markets allowed the organization to grow from 80 sales in 2012 to 523 in 2019. Prior to joining Stanley Martin Drew built Piedmont into the largest and most successful privately-held homebuilding company in Charlottesville VA. Prior to the Piedmont launch Drew spent two years at the Chief Operating Officer of Stonehaus Development, a creative development and commercial construction company. Prior to Stonehaus, Drew had an extensive career at NVR, where he started in 1994 and spent the final seven years as Vice President, Division Manager for the Washington Metro and Charlottesville Divisions. Drew graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1994 with dual Bachelor’s degrees and later received his MBA at the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
