About Drew Johnson

Hi, I’m Andrew Johnson—though most people know me as Drew. I’m originally from Zanesville, Ohio, where I spent the first 18 years of my life immersed in sports and always on the move. That natural curiosity and love for building things led me to discover engineering early on, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m now entering my fifth and final year at the University of Cincinnati, where I’ve had the chance to grow both technically and professionally through the ACCEND program. Every day, I’m motivated by the opportunity to sharpen my engineering skills and tackle real-world challenges. I consider myself an outgoing, competitive, and driven individual who thrives in team settings. Sports taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and accountability—qualities I carry with me into every role. I’m eager to learn, quick to take ownership, and not afraid to ask questions or admit when I’ve made a mistake. Currently, I’m gaining hands-on experience in an Engineering/Drafting Co-Op role with Pioneer Cladding and Glazing Systems, where I’m contributing to real projects and expanding my understanding of curtain wall systems and construction workflows.
