About Drew Morgan

As a dedicated First Grade Teacher, my passion for teaching is fueled by a belief in the transformative power of education and the importance of building a strong foundation in the critical early years of a child’s development. Holding a specialized Dyslexia Designation, I am committed to creating an accessible learning environment that supports students with diverse learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. Recognized by the State of Arizona as a Highly Effective Teacher for three consecutive years, my teaching philosophy is to foster a classroom atmosphere where empathy, respect, and understanding are at the forefront, encouraging students to grow both academically and personally. This approach not only enhances learning outcomes but also cultivates a sense of community and belonging among my students. Beyond the classroom, I indulge in creative pursuits such as ceramics and painting. These hobbies not only enrich my personal life but also inspire my teaching methods, allowing me to incorporate creative thinking and problem-solving into my lesson plans. I believe that by nurturing creativity and curiosity in young learners, we can ignite a lifelong passion for learning and discovery. As I continue to grow in my career, I am eager to connect with fellow educators, professionals, and organizations that share my vision for a more equitable and engaging education system.
