About Drew Olsen

I am a dedicated BEng Civil Engineering student at Loughborough University with a strong passion for becoming a structural engineer focused on driving positive change in the world. Throughout my academic journey and work experiences, I have gained proficiency in various CAD software tools, mastered the interpretation of engineering drawings, and actively contributed to the development of project designs. Alongside this technical growth, I have deepened my knowledge of diverse building structures and frames, while enhancing my soft skills in teamwork, leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also gained practical experience as a laborer, further solidifying my commitment to the field of civil engineering. My ultimate goal is to leverage my skills and knowledge to make meaningful contributions to the construction and structural engineering industry, addressing global challenges and improving the built environment.
