About Drew Waters

I have a successful history of higher education administration and instructional design experience, including both public and private institutions. My passionate commitment to meaningful, effective, interactive curriculum and instructional design environments coupled with continued professional development has enabled me to meet the needs and support the successes of a wide range of lifelong learners. After successfully transitioning from a tenure-track university academic path, I have gained a unique combination of management and high profile executive positions in the music industry as VP of Studio Operations, Archives and Strategy at Capitol Records/EMI, VP of Archives, and North America for Universal Music Group and VP at VEVA Sound. More recently I have been working in the AR/VR/XR entertainment, gaming industry and FinTech as a senior instructional design consultant. This has created a skillset in using Articulate Storyline, Epic Games’ Unreal 5 Engine, FCPX, Pro Tools, Camtasia and Adobe products including Captivate and Character to create engaging, meaningful, interactive instructional content.
