About Drew Wheaton

Drew Wheaton practices in the areas of housing and consumer law. Before law school, Drew worked at Nolo, a Berkeley legal self-help publishing company, where he researched laws and regulations found in Nolo books, online articles, and software products. Since graduating from law school, Drew has written numerous online articles relating to criminal law and criminal procedure. As a U-visa Immigration Rights Fellow at the International Institute of the Bay Area, Drew helped file VAWA and U-visa applications with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for low-income clients. He also worked for the California Public Utilities Commission, where he focused on the Commission’s responses to California Public Record Act requests and subpoenas. Drew graduated from Willamette University with a B.A. in Philosophy. He received his law degree from William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, and he was a member of law review, a Clark County Family Law Mediator, and a student-attorney in Boyd’s Immigration Clinic. During law school. Drew interned for Judge Nathan Tod Young in the Ninth Judicial District Court in Douglas County. He is an active member of the California Bar and Nevada Bar.
