About Driss Davy Duhiteka

A responsible, passionate, and enthusiastic clinical medicine graduate and aspiring global health expert focused on assimilating critical scientific and evidence-based practices in global health, qualitative and quantitative approaches to help advance primary healthcare initiatives in cross-cultural settings. In my work, I conduct operational and programmatic activities to aid the implementation, progress reporting, evaluation, and decision-making of community-directed health interventions at grassroots organizations, bridging home-based disease management incentives and access to healthcare structures to those most in need. With a particular interest in the intersection of social development and health systems strengthening from a holistically adaptive and multisectoral standpoint, I am dedicated to improving health equity and sustaining long-term change by improving the performance and service delivery of primary healthcare in underserved populations.
