As an Application Security Engineer with a strong foundation in cybersecurity, I specialize in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across web applications, mobile platforms, APIs, and cloud-native environments. My passion lies in integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and empowering development teams with secure coding practices. With hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and secure application architecture, I’ve worked closely with engineering and DevOps teams to implement scalable security solutions in hybrid and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP). My deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, SAST/DAST tools, and threat modeling enables me to proactively secure applications before they reach production. As a Cybersecurity Trainer and Teaching Assistant at the National College of Ireland, I’ve mentored over 100 aspiring security professionals in secure development practices, incident response, and threat modeling—strengthening my ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
