About Duane Cleary

I have worked at Sobeys for the last twenty years, with over 18 years of direct network related functions. I have a vast educational background which includes completing a Carpentry Certification program, a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Computing Science, to many years of formal and informal training to build the knowledge pertaining to Information Technology and specifically Networking. I believe not only does this highlight my passion and capabilities to learn, but also the versatility in the person that I am. In my current role, I am responsible for architecting, implementing, and administering one of the largest network footprints in Canada, along with two primary Data Centres. The team at Sobeys is incredibly small, which leads to a very compelling and fast paced environment. Without excellent time management and keen prioritization, it would be impossible for a person to be successful, rigorous, and insure quality in this role.
