About Duane Jackson

Currently, I am a Human Resources Recruiter at Busch Gardens Tampa. In this role, I recruit for the Human Resources, Wardrobe, General Services, Park Operations, Security, Sign Shop, Design & Engineering, and EHS departments for Busch Gardens & Adventure Island Tampa! As a talent specialist, I scout for highly qualified candidates to ensure that each department receives a proper fit for their team. Previously, I worked as a Recruiting Coordinator for Busch Gardens & Adventure Island Tampa Bay where I served as the first point of contact for all new and returning Ambassadors! I conducted interviews, aided applicants with their onboarding process, and assisted the Busch Gardens HR department in various administrative duties. My journey at Busch Gardens Tampa began after I graduated from the University South Florida (USF) Business Analytics and Information Systems program at Muma’s College of Business in May 2025. As a student at USF, I interned at Enterprise Mobility. I developed customer service, management, and marketing skills. In my role, I served and rented cars to over 20 customers per day. Furthermore, I managed my responsibilities as a Resident Assistant (RA). As an RA on campus, I was responsible for the on-campus and academic success of 28 students. All while maintaining a 3.91 GPA! I enjoy giving back to my community and making a positive impact on others. I am always open to new opportunities in the recruitment and/or Human Resources industry and would love to connect with you!
