About Duane Kip Oconnor

An experienced Real Estate professional with a background in mortgage finance. A 7th generation Californio native, he grew up in a real estate family. Beginning as a mortgage loan officer for the Bank of Beverly Hills Mortgage Division and originated financing for several years. Prior to joining Keller Williams Duane established and managed the Marshall Group, a boutique real estate and mortgage finance company. An agency relationship with Duane affords the clients a unique value added proposition to have a broker with a breadth of experience in sales, market trends and property valuation assessement. Has developed a specific marketing agenda utilizing social media, SEO and traditional marketing methods to establish a unique credential to the real estate industry with a specificity to new residential communities. A graduate of the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. from the Political Science Department, an emphasis in International Relations Latin America. He worked as a Research Assistant in the Center for Middle East Development and a Research Associate in the Department of History Latin America.
