About Duane Lippincott

Over 39 years of experience in vehicle maintenance for light, medium, and heavy duty applications. Currently sharing and applying my knowledge from the past years as a CNG Technical Instructor at Natural Gas Vehicle Institute. NGVi is the premier company and industry experts for any CNG needs such as training or consulting. Over 29 years with UPS in the automotive department, which oversees both fleet maintenance and engineering. Starting with UPS in 1989 at an entry level position as a fleet technician, and then after two years began advancing through several different levels of management. During the early years held several different positions in three UPS districts, and was directly responsible for the daily shop operations, including vehicle maintenance. In 2005 accepted an assignment in UPS Corporate Automotive Engineering as the Maintenance and Engineering Manager for the Class 8 power fleet, and currently is a Senior Project Manager with responsibility for Learning, Development, and Training for the automotive personnel in North America. He is an ASE Master Technician Certification in Medium/Heavy Trucks and holds a second Master Certification in Automobile. He has a Degree from Thomas Edison State University in Mechanics and Maintenance. He is a member of American Trucking Association, Technical Advisory Group to the America Trucking Association, member of TMC that currently holds a Board of Directors position, and TMC Silver Sparkplug recipient.
