About Duane Moore

Watching the struggles of my mother working three-four jobs to raise four kids is something I never wanted for my family. Struggling with fear of failure is the extension of my process to success. I've always struggled with failure in the past until I came to grasp of how important it is for me to succeed in my profession, and become a role model for my kids and the community. My motivational belief to be successful in life comes from the need to for fill my responsibilities as a father, and a husband. The reason I no longer choose to quit comes from my spiritual strength of knowing that if God is with me, He will not let me fail no matter how far behind I fall in my curriculum; how hard the material might be; or how many negative outcomes I may receive during the process. Also, quitting in my eyes is not an answer, I view it as a choice decided upon when things get too hard, too difficult, or just too stressful. I believe He has the power to keep me resilient, focused, and in deep progression towards the goal at hand. I am currently working on my Masters in cyber security, and will graduate in May 2017. Currently, I have minimal experience in cyber security, but will gain the necessary expertise to for fill any position protecting others from cyber threats within NSA. My experience alone in Homeland Security infrastructures, policies, technology implementation, asset protection, critical incident management, enforcement of homeland laws and regulations relative to protection of USA assets, and response/mitigation of security, medical, and fire emergencies grants basic understanding to be an asset within NSA's cyber security department.
