About Duff Jones
My current research focuses on future Internet architecture (specifically, Named Data Networking), the network edge, and the spatial web/Metaverse. I am particularly interested in hybrid fog/multi-access edge computing (MEC) network topologies. For the past couple of years, I have lectured at Western University. I have taught introductory programming courses to both computer science and non-computer science undergraduate and graduate students. I continue to teach introductory data structures and algorithms to non-computer science undergraduate and graduate students. Prior to studying computer science and game development at Western, I was a high school English teacher in the York Region District School Board (in the Greater Toronto Area).
