About Dugan Prater

I’m a recent business grad from the University of Alabama with hands-on experience in both insurance and customer-focused roles. Interning with Amwins and Brown & Brown gave me a great look into the brokerage world—shadowing producers, seeing how client relationships work, and learning what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced industry. Outside of insurance, I’ve worked in service and sales roles that taught me how to connect with people, stay adaptable, and bring a strong work ethic to any team. Whether I was helping guests as a beach attendant or handling policy updates behind the scenes, I’ve always focused on learning and adding value wherever I can. I’m open to new opportunities in commercial insurance, sales, and other associate-level roles where I can keep growing and bring curiosity, energy, and a long-term mindset to the table.
